The Federal Employee Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) Open Enrollment Season began on November 8 and will continue through December 13, 2021 (EST, Midnight). FEDVIP Open Season allows federal employees, certain retired uniformed service members and their dependents, and family of active-duty service members (TRICARE) to select or continue utilizing VSP^® vision coverage as part of their health benefit offerings.   

Now when FEDVIP enrollees choose VSP and visit a VSP Global^® Premier Program location, they can save even more! This coverage allows members to maximize their benefits at Premier Program-indicated locations, including $0 exam copays and a higher featured frame brand allowance, which can further support you with patient flow and provide opportunities to increase profitability.   

When discussing Open Season with your FEDVIP patients, encourage them to select VSP during Open Season to maintain their relationship with your practice and take advantage of these new enhanced benefits.
